Robust Carriers is a distributor of quality, clean petroleum products to the commercial, industrial, construction, mining and transport sectors.

The company was founded in Botswana in 1995 as a transport company, but in 2015 started its petroleum products distribution and since then, has been pursuing a buoyant strategy to position itself as one of the leading regional operators in the distribution of fuel, lubricants, chemicals and heating oils.

Behind the Robust Carriers brand stands a strong commitment to premium quality, exceptional service and high safety standards. Robust Carriers is an associate company of the Kujo Group of Companies, which operates subsidiaries in the storage, distribution and transportation of petroleum products.

Kujo Group is one of the largest independent, integrated companies in this industry in South Africa.

Robust Carriers has a majority Botswana citizen ownership, and the partners are Boitumelo Sekwababe and Dan Joubert, both highly accomplished oil industry experts.

Boitumelo Sekwababe

Boitumelo, commonly known as Beetwo, is a seasoned oil industry specialist with more than 30 years industry experience in Botswana and across the Southern African region.

He is the former Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Shell Oil Botswana, which he successfully led for more than 10 years. He has also been the Chief Executive Officer of Thebe Energy and Technical Specialist Advisor for Thebe Energy and Resources, incorporating Oil and Gas, Renewables, Water and Mining. He is the majority shareholder and Managing Director of Robust Carriers.

Daniel Joubert

Dan is an accomplished businessman with more than 20 years in both the oil and transport industries in the regional market. He is currently a Director in Auto Commodities (Pty) Ltd, a fuel distribution company; and in PayLoads (Pty) Ltd, a general and fuel transport company; both operating from South Africa.

He is also a director in The Energy Company, a manufacturer of heating oils as well as a Director in Gasoil (Pty) Ltd, a major petroleum products storage owner and management in South Africa.
